1.The FOX AND THE STORK
A FOX AND STORK WERE FRIENDS. One day the fox invite the stork at a dinner. at the dinner the fox gave his friends some thin soup in a flat dish. This the fox lepped up very readily. But the stork could not eat anything with her long Bell. See remained as hungry at the end of the dinner as when she began.

At tha time of parting the fox regretted that he's just had eaten so little and feared that the dish was not seasoned to her satisfaction.
"Don't apologize, friends fox. After all I have had a good evening with you. Will you not do me the honour to return the visit to next week ? " Replied the stork.
On the fixed day, the fox arrived. The stork ordered the dinner to be brought in. It was kept in a longer with narrow mouth. The stork readily thrust ha Long bill into the jar and enjoyed her dinner. But the fox could not eat anything.

Once a fox was hungry. He got into a garden where ripe grapes were hanging from a high wall."HOW FIND INSIDE THE GRAPES ARE !"SAID THE FOX, "I must have them". his mouth began to water. But the grapes were hanging high. He took run and jumped aiming at the nearest bunch. But he missed. He jumped again and again only to miss the mellow prize. He become tired and fed up. He gave up all hopes of getting the grapes. They were to high. "It is no use trying for the fruit. I am sure" said the fox to himself,"the grapes are sour." So saying the hungry Fox left the place with a heavy heart.

3. THE CROW AND THE FOX
A crow took away a piece of meat and set at the top of a tall tree to enjoy his prize.A fox saw it."if I plan rightly", said the fox himself,"I shall have the meat for my meal."
The Fox set under the tree. He said in a sweet voice,"good day Mistress crow. How beautiful you look! Your voice must be very sweet.".
The vain Crow was pleased at his words. She wanted to please him with her song. She opened her mouth wide to caw a song.
Down dropped the piece of meat! The Fox Caught it before it touched the ground.
He walk away slowly advising the silly Crow," the next time someone praises your beauty, be sure to hold your tongue".
4. THE FOX AND THE GOAT
once a fox suddenly fell in a well. He tried his best to come out but there was no scope for escape. In the mean time a thirsty goat come alone to drink the water of the well.
"What are you doing down there?"cried the goat
Suddenly a plot came to the head of the fox.
"I am here to taste the water", said the fox."the water of this is very sweet, come and taste it"
When the thisty goat heard this he leaped into the well without any any more ado.
The clever fox immediately clambed up the goat''s back and jumped out of the well.
He called down to the unhappy goat the advice, "the next time, dear Goat, be sure to look before you leap!"
MORAL OF THE STORY:
1) DON'T TRUST THE ADVICE OF THE SLY IN DISTRESS.

5. The DOG. AND SHADOW
One day a dog stole a piece of meat. He ran away to enjoy it Lonely. He had to cross a bridge over a clear water. He saw his own Shadow in the water.
He took the shadow as another dog with another piece of meat in his mouth. The dog was greedy indeed !
"I must have that piece of meat" , set the dog to himself. Hi open his greedy mouth to bark at it. Down dropped the piece of meat and fell into the water. He lost his piece of meat. He was sorry for his foolishness.
